Reports on blood supply in compliance with the German Transfusion Act

The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut is the responsible authority for the annual surveillance of blood supply according to section 21 of the German Transfusion Act.

The surveillance comprises data on the collection of blood, blood components, and haematopoitetic stem cells as well as data on the processing, import, export, distribution, and use of blood components, haematopoietic stem cell preparations and industrial blood products.
