Mit Inkrafttreten des Dritten Gesetzes zur Änderung arzneimittelrechtlicher und anderer Vorschriften vom 7. August 2013 (BGBl. I S. 3108) sind die Bundesoberbehörden (BOB) nach § 67 Absatz 6 Satz 10 Arzneimittelgesetz (AMG) verpflichtet, die ihnen nach Maßgabe des § 67 Absatz 6 Satz 1, Satz 2, Satz 7, Satz 9 AMG elektronisch übermittelten Anzeigen und Abschlussberichte zu Anwendungsbeobachtungen (AWB) der Öffentlichkeit im Internet zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Das Paul-Ehrlich-Institut, Bundesinstitut für Impfstoffe und biomedizinische Arzneimittel (PEI), und das Bundesinstitut für Arzneimittel und Medizinprodukte (BfArM) veröffentlichen die Anzeigen von Anwendungsbeobachtungen (AWB) in einer gemeinsamen Datenbank:

Entsprechend den gesetzlichen Vorgaben finden Sie in der Datenbank alle Anzeigen und Abschlussberichte zu AWB, die entweder ab dem 13.08.2013 begonnen wurden oder die vor dem 13.08.2013 begonnen, jedoch nicht vor Ablauf des 31.12.2013, sondern erst später, beendet wurden/werden.
Das Paul-Ehrlich-Institut nimmt keine inhaltliche Prüfung oder Veränderung der ihm aufgrund des § 67 Absatz 6 AMG übermittelten Informationen vor. Die Verantwortung für Inhalt und Methodik der Anwendungsbeobachtungen liegt allein bei den Durchführenden.
Das Paul-Ehrlich-Institut ist nach § 8 Absatz 1 Satz 1 Telemediengesetz für diese Informationen nicht verantwortlich. Eingehende Anzeigen werden vom Paul-Ehrlich-Institut lediglich auf formelle Anforderungen hin überprüft und aufgrund dessen etwas zeitverzögert im Internet veröffentlicht.
In dieser alten Datenbank sind veröffentlichte Dokumente zu Anwendungsbeobachtungen, die vor dem 20.01.2025 beim Paul-Ehrlich-Institut angezeigt wurden, archiviert. Die Dokumente sind nicht in der gemeinsamen Datenbank des Paul-Ehrlich-Instituts und des BfArMs vorhanden.
