Test Allergens for Intracutaneous Tests
Test allergens are used for the diagnosis of allergies to the tested allergens. Depending on the application type, these test allergens are allocated to specific categories.
Intracutaneous tests serve to detect whether sensitisations to an allergen are present. Intracutaneous tests can also be to detect sensitisations to weak allergen. To do this, the test allergen is injected intracutaneously, i.e. into the layer of the skin called dermis using a fine needle.
