Visit the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut on the Open Day of the Federal Government of Germany

On the Federal Government’s Open Day, which takes place on 25 and 26 August this year, the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) will present itself at the Federal Ministry of Health in Berlin. "We warmly invite all citizens to a visit at our stand and to guided tours about our institute", says Professor Klaus Cichutek, president of the PEI, Federal Institute for Vaccines and Biomedicines.

"Innovation in cancer treatment: new immune therapies" and "From pollen to biomedicines – a small tour around the world of allergen products" – these are just two of the presentations held by the president of PEI and his experts on the occasion of this open day. Before that, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the ministry as part of a guided tour.

But you can also discover many other things: The activity station will provide useful knowledge on allergies and the development of allergen products. For all those who would like to prove their knowledge on a game, there are quizzes about allergies and biomedicines. Small prizes can also be won; and there are activities for children: In a game of Memory, they will learn the names of diseases, from which a vaccination can protect them.

We look forward to your visit. (Source: PEI)
