Reports from the Federal Government on Experiences with Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD)
The Central Office for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis was established at the Paul-Ehrlich-Institut in accordance with section 9 of the Ordinance Regulating Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (Präimplantationsdiagnostik-Verordnung, PIDV). The Central Office is tasked with documenting data from the authorised preimplantation genetic diagnosis centres (PGD centres). The data is collected once a year in accordance with section 8 of the PIDV.
