The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut (PEI) creates a framework for its member of staff within which they can reconcile their job and career with their family obligations more easily. This includes measures facilitating the return to their job after “family time” or to combine their management role with life in a young family or care for a relative.
For employees at the PEI, various part-time models, the adaptation of their regular working hours and regular working from home are possible. Besides, we provide a child-care facility for members of staff to look after their children while they are working.
We have continuously developed this family-friendly service further in the past few years. This is our contribution to motivating our members of staff and increasing the quality of their work. Both the employees at the PEI and the PEI as an employer can benefit from this family-conscious personnel policy.
